These terms cover the use of this website and the basis on which EtherCorps — a solo studio run by Shivam Meena — takes on work. Engagement-specific terms live in the agreement we sign for each project; where the two differ, that agreement wins.
Using this site
This site is provided as-is, for information. The work shown is real, but figures marked as placeholder are illustrative until replaced. Nothing here is a binding offer on its own — a project starts when we both sign an agreement.
Engagements
Scope, price, timeline, and payment terms are set per project in a written agreement. Discovery deliverables are yours to keep. Unless that agreement says otherwise, you own the code we write for you on final payment.
Intellectual property
Our open-source projects are governed by their own licenses on GitHub. The EtherCorps name, wordmark, and this site's design remain ours. Client trademarks and materials remain the client's.
Liability
We do our work carefully, but this website carries no warranty, and our liability for any engagement is limited to the terms of that engagement's agreement. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site.
